Changi Sailing Club

Secret hideaway on Singapore’s northeast coast

The Client

Changi Sailing Club’s history goes back to 1936, when the Changi Garrison Yacht Club was formed by a group of British soldiers. It is now the oldest sailing club in Singapore dedicated to sailing, and in 2026 it marks its 90th anniversary.

The Brief

CSC needed a website that could do two jobs at once: serve as the club’s official home for members and visitors, and give the club’s magazine a life online. The club had been producing a printed publication for years and wanted it on the web.

What We Built

Two things, running together:

  • The club website — sailing courses and programmes (Optimist, adult dinghy, and keelboat), an events calendar, membership information, and club news.
  • Changilog, the online magazine — the club’s print publication rebuilt as an online magazine that updates continuously rather than quarterly.

Fourteen Years, And Still Running It

We have designed and maintained the CSC website since 2012. In 2017 we worked with the club to move the magazine online, and it has grown since into a full-featured online sailing magazine running alongside the main club site.

Both are still on the platform we built, and Changilog is still publishing — the most recent articles went up in September 2026.
